Planning a wedding in Italy is a dream for many couples, and Rachel and James’s wedding was no exception. Nestled in the heart of Umbria, their chosen castle provided a breathtaking backdrop for their romantic celebration.
Despite a few weather-related challenges, we were able to pull off a magical two-day event that exceeded their expectations. Having a solid Plan B in place is crucial for stress-free wedding planning.
Day One: The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place in one of the castle’s charming halls, creating an intimate and elegant atmosphere. We adorned the long hall with a stunning imperial table, adorned with floating candles and simple floral arrangements.
A highlight of the evening was the cake-cutting ceremony. Rachel and James surprised their guests with a homemade millefoglie cake, expertly decorated with juicy strawberries. It was a delicious and personal touch that delighted everyone.
Day Two: The After-Party
The following day, guests were treated to a fun-filled pool party. As the sun began to set, we transformed the venue into a magical outdoor space for the evening festivities.
A live pizza-making show was a crowd-pleaser, captivating guests with its culinary artistry. The evening concluded with mingling, dancing, and unforgettable memories.
